Why Give Gifts of the Bear?

I love to give gifts or decorate with items that have deeper or special meaning. So I decided to write a series on gifts & decor that have meaning other that beauty or visual appeal.
I, like many others, are drawn to bears. Some prefer the soft cuddly, stuffed sort of thing but some of us prefer the natural, stronger image of the bear. Decorating a log cabin or lodge with bears is pretty much a given but we place them in our modern homes, cars, on our desk dangling from computer monitors, the fridge, you name it. There's just something about bears.
It is the bears spiritual aspect makes them a great choice for a special gift or conversation piece for your home or office. Bear spiritual attributes are going within, sweetness of life, according to the "Holistic Shop Dictionary."
Bears hibernate, traveling within, where we find our deepest truths, our true self. With finding our true self, comes the sweetness of life. It is the honey of life to know who you really are. Bear energy helps one to go within, find our true self and return to the world wiser and stronger. Bear energy gives us courage to stop thinking and know we will not die just because we are not thinking. There is much more to us than our thoughts, much more to life than earthly concerns.
The symbol of the bear represents your intention to introspect and connect with your true self where intuition and "knowing without thinking" rule. Giving bear gifts or to decorate with bears is putting the energy of the bear within grasp. Wisdom, strength and knowing your true self are gifts from the heart.
