This is some general information, trouble shooting and FAQ's about shopping, check out and shipping assistance at Log Cabin Fever Gifts & Decor Online.

Do I have to create an account to shop at Log Cabin Fever?

No, you do not! We just changed to a one page checkout to make checking out easier on customers. If you do not want to create an account just besure to use an email address that is not in our system and leave the 2 password fields empty. However if you did create an account you must login or use an alternate email address.

Do I have to go all the way through check out to find my shipping charges?

No, you do not! Simple go to checkout and only enter your address to see the shipping options below on the same form. NOTE: The calculator shows errors / no fees for UPS and USPS until your enter your address.

This stupid cart says "Confirmation Password Does Not Match Password"!

You can go to My Account, change password (even to the same password) and continue checkout. The new one cart system has a different encryption coding process and may not recognize your password for the first time for previous accounts created.

I'm trying to Check Out but the system keeps kicking me back to the beginning.

There are generally two reasons for kick back:
1.) If you have created an account you must login first or use an alternate e-mail address to checkout without using your account. This is because the system recognizes your e-mail address.
2.) If you have gotten as far as credit card info and the system kicks you back it usually indicates incorrect credit card information. Please be very careful entering your card information and billing address!

I saw an item I want to order but now I can't find it.

Our system is set up to remove items as soon as they are sold out. So, if you saw an item and go back a minute later and can no longer find it, it means the last one has just been sold. On ocassion the shopping cart will let an item be ordered that is out of stock, orders being made at the same moment. You will be notified as soon as possible that that item is no longer available and your money refunded.

Do you sell wholesale?

No, we do not. We are a retail only business.

Do you mail out catalogs?

No, we do not. Our inventory just changes too frequently for one to be of any use at this time.

Where is your store located?

Online :-) We do not have a brick and morter store, we are a warehouse situation. However, we do have a "Local Pick-up" option for our local customers to avoid shipping charges and to view items before purchasing.

Where is my order?

We do send Tracking Numbers for UPS deliveries and Delivery Confirmation numbers for USPS deliveries with direct links to the respective shippers for your shipment to every customer. If you did not receive your number please e-mail so we can correct your e-mail address.

Who do you use for shipping?

We use the U.S.P.S. (United States Postal Service) and U.P.S. (United Parcel Service).

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes, APO's, Alaska and Hawaii?

Yes we do. Please use the Post Office shipping choices not UPS.

Do you guarantee delivery time?

UPS Ground and Priority Mail are NOT guaranteed, estimates only. Guaranteed times for Next Day Air and Express Mail ARE guaranteed by the Post Office and UPS

Tried "Tracking" my package shipped through the Post Office but the message I got says it hasn't been picked up yet!

Ahhhh, this we call the "Post Office Generic Message". Goes something like this:

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on November XX, 1852 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

This message is generated when we print your dated postage. You will more than likely only see this message until your package is delivered or if something goes wrong. The Delivery Confirmation number (for the Post Office) is not a true Tracking Number... it only confirms delivery and problems.

Has my order been shipped yet?

Our inventory is in stock and ready to ship. Usually orders ship same day if order is placed before noon or next business day. You will receive an Order Shipping Info e-mail from Log Cabin Fever. This e-mail specifies your ship date and delivery confirmation number and a link to our tracking page.
